Brandi

This was our second session with Brandi. We did an abbreviated session at the farm earlier this summer.

Brandi is the much loved 16 year old Yorkie of Trinh and Jason. They opened their hearts and their home to this little girl when she was already at the advanced age of 11.

She has been living with kidney failure for the last 4 years. She has grown weary and Jason and Trinh (and probably Brandi too) know her days are numbered.

Though she spent most of our session resting (or trying to get away from the dreaded camera!), she rallied at the very end for a bit of her favorite treat- McDonald’s ice cream.

To Trinh and Jason and Brandi – enjoy your final days together and know we are with you in thought and support.

Daisy

I write this with a very heavy heart. It was less than a month ago that we photographed our dear friend Daisy. I was saddened to learn of her passing on Monday of this week.

Daisy, widely known and loved, will be sorely missed by her family and all who knew her. Our greatest sympathy to her family.

Not the least hard thing to bear when they go from us, these quiet friends, is that they carry away with them so many years of our own lives.
