Bravo · Therapy Dog Extraordinaire!

Yesterday Bravo came out and graced us with his beautiful presence.  This dog will do anything he is asked and truly LIVES to work.  He is one of many therapy dogs serving countless people in need.

Bravo’s human, Rhonda May, is a talented trainer at Leesburg’s Dog Day Afternoon.¬† (We know Bravo’s smart but we can’t give him all the credit!)¬† Thanks for a lovely session Bravo!

Lily · A Bulldog Grows Up

Yesterday we visited with our bulldog puppy pal РLily, on her 5 month birthday.  Lily is the spokesdog-in-training for our good friends at Everything and The Dog.  At our last puppy session she slept through most of the shoot. Not yesterday!

In fact, Lily pretty much decided that cameras and associated backdrops and lighting are plain annoying. Instead, she turned the shoot into “catch me if you can!”

She did indulge us a few times and allowed the “silly humans” to amuse themselves…¬† Thanks for hanging with us Lily!

Dog Inspiration

I’ve just added two canvases of my own pups to my office wall. My office just became a nicer place to work…..[caption id="attachment_289" align="alignnone" width="900" caption="Black and White Gallery Wrapped canvases"]Black and White Gallery Wrapped canvases[/caption]

Poor Lily

Some of you know I had a slight injury this week. Shooting was off the books for a few days as my finger, which I lacerated cutting tortillas…, healed.

Today, amidst the cold and wind of a Virginia winter, I picked up my camera and tried out the injured finger.  It did pretty well.

Much to Lily’s dismay…
