We had a spectacular late spring evening at the farm last night. And we slipped this in just under the wire! We were contacted several weeks ago about doing a session with Gromit and his boy Marcus. It was to be a surprise birthday gift for Marcus’ mom, Karla.
As luck would have it, it poured rain on our original date and we re-scheduled for last night – with nary any room to spare as today is Karla’s birthday!
This time the weather cooperated and so did Gromit!
Gromit is a 1 1/2 year old Corgi, chosen by Marcus, as a pup. He is a delightful dog and he introduced us to his equally delightful and polite boy, Marcus. They drove all the way from D.C. to create this special gift.
While it’s always rewarding to see the bond between humans and dogs, it’s particularly so between a boy and his dog.
It was a fun-filled evening filled with laughter and antics. This post has a few more images than usual since it’s all we’ll have ready for Karla’s birthday.
So, happy birthday Karla. We had a blast with your family!
