We learned yesterday of the passing of Ben. A sweet, gentle, soul of a dog. The “heart dog” of his human Michele.
We photographed Ben in the fall of 2008. At that time his musculoskeletal system was fast deteriorating and getting around was beginning to get difficult.
But oh how he loved life! Happy to amble down the drive with Michele. Particularly thrilled to enthusiastically bark at the UPS man!
We know Michele is still at that point where she expects to see him around every corner.
Eventually, the pain will subside. And we’re so glad that when it does, she has the images from his session to comfort her.
Our deepest sympathy to Michele and her family on the loss of this wonderful dog.
