Gibson

I told you we had a busy weekend! After our outside romp with Cody (see below) we settled into the barn for an inside session with Gibson.

Gibson is a 5 year old Australian Shepherd. Sadly, he has been diagnosed with a brain tumor.¬† He has good and bad days.¬† We’re so glad we were able to photograph him on one of his good ones!

He was full of play and good humor. And even took a few moments to strike some beautiful poses.

We wish Gibson many more happy and beautiful days!

Tracy - You know the picture of Max that I sent out? THIS is what he is registered with the microchip company as… and Australian Shepherd. But he definitely has some Doberman… he even has that ridge on his head.
Still no word from his owner.

I also wish Gibson many happy days! He is very beautiful!!

Elaine Nawiesniak - Having had a pet with a spinal tumor I know how hard it must be for the owner of this beautiful dog. My heart goes out them. It is so difficult to see them have good days only to be followed by bad ones. You just have to enjoy those good days while they last. These portraits will be priceless to the family. I wish I had some like this of my O’Malley before I lost him.

Mary Harper - Gibson was put down yesterday after fighting a brave battle with a brain tumor for 23 months. It is heartbreaking to lose him at such a young age. He lived a wonderful life and knew that Mommy, Daddy, Heidi, Foster and Emily loved him. Thank you everyone for your kind comments when his pictures were published.

Mary Laura Fitzgerald - This is sort of freakish for me to find a dog when I looked for my god-mother Mary Harper Gibson who died of a brain tumor (I didn’t plug brain tumor into the search!) Sorry for your loss, but wow.
