We braved the sweltering temps this weekend for a session with Ari & Abby at Tranquility Farm.
Abby, age 10, is a black lab. Her partner, Ari, is 3 years old and is a purposeful breeding between a Labrador and a Weimaraner.
They currently live with their “grandparents” until their human, Stephanie, has a place where they can be with her.
Stephanie has all sorts of animals to include a tortoise and a sugar-glider! But her dogs are her loves and it is obvious they adore her.
Abby is the typical lab – loving and dedicated to Stephanie. At age 10, her joints are a bit creaky but her spirit is still youthful.
Ari, is a goof. Beautiful and striking, but a goof! Rescued from a situation where his previous owner took on too much dog, he has found his forever home with Stephanie.
Both dogs were a joy to work with on this hot summer night. Stephanie thinks she will have a place by fall. And finally, her canine family will be with her. In the meantime, they seem to be loving it at the “grandparents!”
