Honoring Those Who Have Served

On a frosty early morning we took time from our hectic holiday season to honor those who have served their country.

Thousands of people braved the frigid temps and icy winds to help place holiday wreaths on the graves in Section 12 of Arlington National Cemetery. It is estimated that 10,000 wreaths were placed this morning thanks to the organization that started it all.

For some it was a somber day, for others a festive one.  For all it will be memorable.

Maria - Inspirational, emotional, gorgeous.
What a fabulous way to have spent this morning. I am envious; I wish I could have been there as well.
Truly special photos of this event, Bev!
