Meet the Artist

I am a veterinarian by training and an artist at heart.  I am lucky enough to blend my two loves and work as a pet photographer!

It is my vast experience with animals, in my opinion, that allows me to capture something unique about each pet.  I have studied animal behavior for many years. I understand animals. Even more importantly, they seem to understand me.

I work with extremely talented assistants who are also well versed in animal handling. Together, as a team, we strive to create a truly stylistic image that you will be proud to display.

I would love to be your pet photographer!

Pitch & Duke – Home Study

It’s been over a year since we met Pitch and Duke. Their humans, John and Maynil, had scheduled a shoot late last season.  Too late as a matter of fact. As soon as we had them on the books the winds took the leaves, the rains came and we decided to postpone.  Now, a full year later we were almost shut out again. Two days of rain, blustery winds – it wasn’t looking good.  But, early afternoon, the skies cleared, the last of the leaves hung on, and we finally had our session with these two boys!

Pitch, a 12 1/2 year old black lab who doesn’t look a day over 6, and Duke, an 8 year old yellow lab who hasn’t met a camera he doesn’t  like, gleefully showed us about their “property.”  And what a beautiful property they have!  Wooded trails, open grassy play areas and all of it fenced just for them!  These two are quite a pair.

Pitch really preferred to roam about and could take or leave the camera. Duke, on the other hand, was striking poses even during lens changes!  They are just a delight, these two boys. Fast friends and devoted to their humans.  And very, very, very, BALL oriented!!  Even at 12 1/2, Pitch can outrun Duke on most ball chases.  It was a joy to watch the spirit of these guys.  Thanks for having us out to your gorgeous property Pitch and Duke!

You captured the purity, the essence, the full color personality of our beloved 4-legged angels and for that we are genuinely grateful. And these are just the sneak peek photos, so we can imagine how exceptional the rest of the portfolio will turn out. You possess an incredible gift of seizing the real beauty of your subjects with your lens.
