  • WELCOME

I'm thrilled to have you visit my blog! I have specialized in Fine Art Pet Photography in the northern Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C. area for the past 10 years.

Most recently I've moved to Asheville, NC and am doing only limited client work. My recent path has me working on several photography projects, most of course, involve dogs.

Please check back often for updated project work!

Happy Weekend!

From one of our Dallas Unleashed sessions!

Pat Corl - Ha! I know this dog! She was my 2004 Christmas puppy Belle about 7 years old here. Love that long tongue of hers!

In Memory – Melvin March 2, 2005- April 13, 2015

Yesterday the world lost another great dog.

We photographed Melvin back in 2010 on a walkabout at Tranquility Farm.

He came into his forever home a bit of a mess health-wise and a bit of a challenge behavior-wise.

No matter. His human loved him unconditionally.  And so the Melvin story unfolded. His life and antics were lovingly chronicled here by his extremely talented human Tracey. We watched Melvin blossom, welcome his equally challenged brother Jake into the fold,  and shared his final illness. And through Tracey’s beautiful words  Melvin wiggled his way into even more hearts.

Today, those hearts collectively break.

From Melvin fans everywhere – we love you sweet boy.

Melvin

Tracey Holupka - We just love you and that day was perfection! I still remember exuberant Melvin falling down the steps not so gracefully when we went to see the proofs with Don. This post means so much to me, as does your constant support of all things us. You are the best of the best! Much love to you.

Cherie Hardy - Oh how Melvin, Jake, and Tracey have touched my heart over the years. My heart aches for her and Jake.
